After a year of hard work at the office I was sick and tired of everything connected with my work. Besides I had some extra money to spend on travel resorts. It was useless to think twice, I packed my things and drove to San Diego. The only travel destination that can be a heaven for all those who are longing for ocean shores.
San Diego, California’s second largest city and the sixth safest city in US, enjoys the southern warmth all year long. Hotels on the beach in San Diego are magnificent offering the best food and the best hotel rooms. Pacific Terrace Hotel, Surfer Beach Hotel, Catamaron Hotel, La Jolla Shores Hotel are among them.
San Diego also offers the best beach resorts you could have ever dreamed of. Silver Stand Beach, Pacific Beach, Mission Beach, and Ocean Beach are only some of them.
These beaches at the ocean shores offer a great variety of activities for people who like boat cruises, gondola rides, sailing, swimming and surfing. The best beach that may be “a paradise” for people who go surfing, in my opinion, is the Pacific Beach.
The Pacific Beach has a separate water area for surfing. Maybe that’s why it drew so many people, including me, this summer.
Actually I can’t surf myself, but I like watching young people “fighting” with the huge waves and enjoying themselves. It seems impossible to drown in this beach as there are so many trained and handsome lifeguards watching you. What a pity that I couldn’t go surfing, but instead there was a cement boardwalk (a great advantage of a beach that I didn’t find in other beaches), where I could ride a bicycle, walk alone or with friends.
Pacific beach is also one of the few beaches that allows fire at night (of course in special containers).
Hotels on the beach of San Diego and beaches themselves are not the only things that San Diego offers its tourists. San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park, Sea World marine and entertainment park, art and space museums in historic Balboa Park, Point Loma Lighthouse, historic Old Town can be included in your list of best places to travel.
Another thing that is worth mentioning about San Diego is its comfortable transportation system. In this city you will not find thousands of taxis invading the streets (like in India for example). Instead there are many train stations, buses and trolleys that will take you wherever you want.
This is San Diego. A wonderful place where you can have rest, swim, surf and simply enjoy yourself fully. I assume it is the best travel destination that you could have dreamed of.
